About Me

Sharon Kataya FdSc Counselling, MBACP

I am a BACP registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist practising Integrative therapy, and have experience of working within the statutory, voluntary, and private sectors.

I work with adults on a wide range of issues including anxiety, panic disorder, depression, anger management, work-related stress, relationship problems, family issues, bereavement, drug and alcohol addiction, compulsive gambling, and personal & professional self development.

What is Integrative Therapy?

Integrative counselling and psychotherapy can be seen as one of the most effective approaches of counselling. Its strategies can be found in every successful form of therapy. The philosophical stance of this approach is that there is no single approach to psychological intervention that is suitable for every client.  Each person is unique and distinctive, which means that one-size fits all approaches to therapy will not be effective. Integrative counselling can include psychodynamic, person-centred, and cognitive behavioural therapies.

Integrative therapy allows a tailor-made service especially for YOU.
